Sharjah Police has launched Alert Trailer to Increase Road Safety.

The new scheme is aimed to reduce road accidents and enhance road safety. The trailer was produced by Emirati cadres of the Sharjah Police. The vehicle is built to a high standard and can withstand different weather conditions. The trailer was built in seven days based on scientific research. The Sharjah Police has a laboratory for traffic upgrades, which helps in creating ideas and conducting tests before implementing them.

Sharjah Police Traffic and Patrol Department Director Lt.  Colonel Muhammad Alai Al Naqbi said. The project aims to prevent continuous traffic accidents on the roads as the alert trailer replaces the traffic patrolling closed roads in the event of a car accident, heavy vehicle breakdown or fire. He explained that since the vehicle has strong solar lights, it helps to inform motorists from a distance.
