The Dubai Police received a report at around 5am that a man's decomposing body was found in an apartment in Al Qusais area. Then the forensic team and experts reached the spot and conducted an inspection.

A decomposed body was found with its hands and feet tied. He looked thirty-five years old. Through search and investigation, it was determined that the victim died in the apartment. It was also learned that two persons left the apartment after the crime. The watchman of the building confirmed to the police that the owner of the flat had left with a woman, but the police found that the victim was the owner of the flat.

From the examination of the surveillance cameras in the building, it was found that the man came out of the flat with a woman and wore the victim's clothes to mislead the police and guards. Security teams succeeded in identifying and arresting the culprits (a man and a woman) within an hour of receiving the report. They killed the victim because the killer's sister had an illicit relationship with him.

On the day of the crime killer, his sister accompanied him to help him enter the victim's apartment. He said to have blackmailed the woman with indecent pictures and video clips and threatened to send them to her husband. That enraged her brother, who had come with her to kill him, leaving the apartment as the owner of the apartment to avoid suspicion.
