    As part of the campaign, safety tips are disseminated for their safety and the safety of others.

    The campaign aims to familiarize e-scooter riders with traffic rules and regulations, protect the lives of road users, reduce traffic accidents and accidents, and ensure public safety.

    Safety and security conditions that e-scooter riders must follow

    Wear a proper helmet, especially when riding near highways, in addition to wearing a reflective jacket, install bright white front and red rear lights reflectors.

    "E-scooters should be parked in designated areas and should not be left in areas obstructing traffic. Riders should drive carefully and avoid causing traffic hazards to other road users," said Colonel Abdullah Rashid Al Hafeet, Acting Director of Nehatta Police Station.

    Head of the Traffic Registration Department Captain Ghader Mohammad Bin Surur said the importance of maintaining distance between other vehicles and pedestrians.

    He pointed out that the jurisdiction recorded an injury to an e-scooter user after a vehicle collided with the rider at night. He said "The driver could not notice the e-scooter rider as he was wearing black clothes and riding a black e-scooter,".
