The UAE Public Prosecution (PP) announced the punishment through a film posted on social media. According to Article 43 of Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combating Electronic Crimes and Rumors, swearing at others or accusing others of an incident that exposes others to punishment or humiliation. Information technology device, or an information system shall be punishable with imprisonment and/or a fine of not less than 250,000 Dirhams and not more than 500,000 Dirhams.
